Depression cannot be reduced to a state of crisis, but finds its origins in a shifting and evolving process. This long voyage from annihilation to appeasement can be considered a period of initiation and can something bring about true rebirth. Through the testimonies of Françoise and Gérard, who one day were in emotional difficulties; the film tells the story of the solitary voyage that people have to make if they are to accept themselves, not as someone different, but differently as themselves.
