At time when three star chefs travel the world opening restaurants or being interviewed by the international press, Bernard Pacaud spends his days cooking. His art embraces the seasons and with the appearance of a black truffle or a wild strawberry he radically revises his menu. Pacaud's signature is hymn in praise of exceptional produce and to the efforts of a handful of artisans. He draws inspiration in his gastronomic quest from childhood memories and from encounters with mentors from the w<orld of French gastronomy.
For the first time, the "Ambroisie" throws open the doors of its kitchens and the chef reveals many of his secrets. This itinerary of one of the greatest cooks of our time, filmed in his day-to-day work behind the ovens, as the seasons pass.
