With a touch of irony, this movie paints the portrait of a mysterious occupation, often seen as sacred by some, and disparaged or considered pretentious by others. By questioning the ambitions, the doubts, the strategies, the compromises, the hard times, and the lean years of unusual artists, symbolic of the entire profession, "In Art we Trust" describes the passage of an artist today, from the beginning to the end of his professional life. It is a lively, playful and moving allegory of the image of the artist in contemporary society.
