Piotr Anderszewski, voyageur intranquille
Bruno Monsaingeon
2008 - 85 min - HDCam - Couleur et Noir & Blanc - France, Pologne

Structured like a road movie, this new documentary by Bruno Monsaingeon takes us on a train journey across Poland and on to Budapest in the company of Piotr Anderszewski, following an itinerary dictated by his concert calendar. The train is his rehearsal and work space, and the place where he receives his friends, but it is also where he ponders his career. The film retraces the highlights of his professional activities, including the recording of a new album and his most recent recitals in Paris and Tokyo. Too, this film is an opportunity to engage in a deep reflection on his music and his rapport with his art. This theme is a leitmotif in the film.
