This is the second episode of the project on stories collected by the SAFI artistic group (see also Nadira et la mauve) and translated into images by three directors from Marseille, using paper cut-outs and a huge amount of patience. Every film is a miniature portrait that tells us the story of a plant and a person from Marseille, from the other side of the Med, who has a memory that is specifically linked to the plant. So, Mustapha Manni remembers his childhood in Casablanca, Morocco and the clematis he used to make cigarettes out of with his friends.
