An international event, cinema enthusiast, televised, sophisticated, popular and commercial, the Cannes Film Festival showcases the finest in world cinema. Emmanuelle Béart became a star here alongside Michel Piccoli in "La Belle Noiseuse" in 1991.
Marlène Jobert came here for the first time in 1971 for "Les mariés de l'An II", but without co-star Jean-Paul Belmondo.
