Second episode in this history of the housing rights association DAL (Droit au Logement/ Right to Housing) as told by filmmakers and videastes. From 1994, the campaign to revitalise the old laws allowing the "requisition" of empty apartments picks up steam.
The squat of an enormous building in the heart of Paris's luxurious "left bank" occupies centre stage during the 1995 presidential campaign. At the same time the DAL creates a series of links with other organisations involved in contesting free-market globalisation.
