2003 - 52 min - 16 mm & Betacam - Couleur - France

"Bye-bye apartheid" is a documentary drama shot in South-Africa during the 1999 elections.
"Bye bye apartheid” is the true story of the “South-African Coluche” who went all over South Africa personifying the legendary Evita Bezuidenhout. Evita, the "Imelda Marcos of apartheid", acquires amnesty from Archbishop Desmond Tutu's "Truth and Reconciliation Commission" by travelling throughout South Africa promoting the new democracy.
Evita is the fictional character that he created in the 1970’s and which since became “the most famous white woman in South Africa”. His personal crusade reveals the inherent problems which still exists in South Africa.
