This film, which completes "L’An prochain à Jérusalem", was shot as part of the video initiation workshop organised for young people from Roubaix and young Palestinians, during the stay in Roubaix of fifteen young Palestinians from Jerusalem. This work was done in partnership with the town of Roubaix and the Nautilus social centre.
The film is organised around the idea of a filmed spelling book. In turn each young person chooses a word, explains it in front of the camera and checks its meaning outside by doing street interviews. Liberty, dam, equality, camel, fraternity, war, blood, solution, peace, are the words that they chose and which illustrate the points of view : of the Roubaix people and of the Palestinian people.
