Algérie, histoires à ne pas dire
Jean-Pierre Lledo
2007 - 160 min - 35 mm - Couleur - France

During the independence in 1962, the population natives of Jewish and European community leave Algeria.
Four persons born in Muslim community looking for truth about their own life, go back over the last years of the war, from 1955 to 1962, which are also the last years of French colonisation.
Between hates and fraternities, they make us travel inside a hidden memory, a memory about the relationship between their Jewish and Christian neighbours. Along with them, we rediscover the founding myths of New Algeria...
But will they break up with their own legends?
