Painter Jean Ricardon creates a Cistercian modern art by renewing the stained glass windows of the Acey Abbey. Adjusting his endless research on the colour white to the asceticrequirements promulgated by St Benoît, the painter did not only let himself be subjugated by the silence of the church or the play of light in this 12th century architecture, he mostly listened and observed the lives of the monks.
