This film was shot entirely between 1.5 and 25km off Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power plant. Filming next to the nuclear power plant since 2011, I wonder what is "a safe place".
In search of a safe place, I left, heading towards an unknown territory of my future. So close to the melted core of Fukushima Daiichi, we fished, experiencing the zone, collecting data. Everywhere, landscape in mutation, everywhere, transformation. I met with people who were forced to leave, wonderful people, nuclear refugees...
