À la lumière de "J'accuse"
Robert Bober
1998 - 65 min - Beta numérique - Couleur - France

It has been said over and over again : the Dreyfus affair divided France in two.
It could be said (just as easily) : the affair cut France into tiny pieces, and gave a nation the look of a jigsaw puzzle.
It was in January 1898, just after Zola’s letter to the President of the Republic was published (letter entitled "J’accuse") that the affair grew to enormous proportions.
We have tried to see how "J’accuse" (amongst writers and artists) separated (or reconciled) various people.
