On 7 April 2002, in the context of the jazz festival "Banlieues bleues", an exceptional concert took place in Drancy (93) with Tom Zé, a Brazilian composer, accompanied by a hundred or so of the young and the not-so-young from the département. Small apprentice sound effects engineers from one of the town’s nursery schools were on the stage beside this great man from Brazil.
The film traces the weeks of preparation, shows moments from the concert and reminds us how much music is always a universal language.
