In Wisconsin, the filmmaker interviews her father about his experience in Vietnam during the war as a US Army Intelligence Officer. He was sent there on a covert operation, and for 30 years told no one he had been to Vietnam. He kept his secret until it was declassified in the mid-90s. His daughter was the first person he told.
This film reflects on why people keep secrets for their governments, and the potentially alienating effects of classification. This film is about memory, the nature of secrecy and how we live in the aftermath of history.
