The story of the strike at McDonald’s in the Faubourg Saint-Denis in Paris during the winter of 2001-2002. For 115 days, the forty or so young employees of McDo, mostly young second-generation North Africans or Blacks from the suburbs, held out against the giant of the restaurant business until they gained victory !
With the help of many militants grouped together in a support group, they discovered employment law and trade unionism. Things will never be the same again at McDonald’s !
