The contemporary sequel to a dramatic incident in a village of the Ardennes at the end of the 2nd World War : the brutal execution of 9 hostages in retaliation for the attack of a German convoy by a Resistance group in the district.
In Marcourt today, everyone keeps silence. No discussion between the children of the martyrs and those of the members of the Resistance. They eye each other without speaking, hostility remains hidden as is suspended. In Marcourt today, they have not been able to heal the wounds of remembrance.
