In the heart of the Chinese province of Sichuan, a team of itinerant projectionists, a woman and two men, travel through the countryside, showing films to peasants. This documentary is a "stroll" guided by these missionaries of popular cinema. We follow them from village to village and while exploring their devotion to a profession threatened by the arrival of television and the Chinese economic reform.
