Les Oubliés de Montreuil-Bellay
Abdelali Boutibi
1999 - 26 min - Betacam SP - Couleur - France

Montreuil-Bellay is a pretty village in Anjou, picturesque and historic. Yet this is where several thousand Tzigane men, women and children were shut up from November 1941 to January 1945.
The director of the film, who lives thirty kilometres away, introduces us to the history of this internment camp.
With Jacques Sigot, local historian and author of "Ces barbelés oubliés par l’Histoire", and Poulouche, former detainee in the camp, he rouses ghosts that today are blown about in the wind.
