The uranium mines have been shut down and Mounana, the small city has been forgotten. The former miners, who spent their whole life working for French nuclear industry, now fear for their health and their family's and everyday they have to make do within a polluted land.
At the heart of the Gabonese forest, stuck between memories of a thriving past and the reality of a painful present, they must strive to build future prospects for themselves and simply live with dignity.
