Reunion Island is a 3,000 metre mountain planted in the middle of the Indian Ocean. Thanks to its particularly tormented landscape and the number of rivers, this island is a perfect place to practise canyoning and climbing.
In this film, the author takes us into the most impressive canyons and the most spectacular climbing routes on Reunion.
"Légende des tropiques" tells the story of Gilbert Ah-Fat, a young inhabitant of Reunion who discovered the mountains thanks to Pascal Colas and Vincent Terrisse, mountain guides who have been in Reunion for some years.
The film is followed by "L'Envers du décor", a report that takes us into the wings of the making of the film.
