Cross-culturalism has enriched our art world for the past decade, in music, cinema, plastic arts and modern dance.
Mathilde Monnier, choreographer and director of Montpellier's Centre National, has always been on the lookout for experiences with the potential to enhancing her creative work. A tour to Burkina Faso alongside dancer-choreographer Seydou Boro (Mali provided the opportunity for a new approach to cross-culturalism. How can French modern dance influence African dancers and vice-versa ?
The film is about this encounter. The merging of two cultures and a new body language make up this challenge.
