The hunter fraternity has great influence all over West Africa. It goes back to the founding of the great empires and is at the origin of the Mandé charter (1222) that some considered to be the first declaration of Human Rights. Eight centuries later, it is still lively and active. “The Flight of the hunter” is about the initiation of one of its member, Yacouba, by his master Diakaridia. By following them, we will dive into the world of fraternity, in a world that goes beyond borders and modern states: we will discover the "Mandingue spirit".
