Aharon's childhood
Arnaud Sauli
2017 - 75 min - Film Autre & vidéo Ultra HD - Couleur - France

Aharon Appelfeld is a great writer and a survivor. One of the last generation. One of the last three writers, who survived the Holocaust. Aharon Appelfeld has a singular destiny and keeps inside him the fate of a whole population. He keeps his story, the History.
He lives on earth, although the latter sometimes disappears or transforms, whether it is the Jewish Bucovine, Jerusalem’s cafes in the 1960’s, the orthodox of Mea Shearim (a neighbourhood of Jerusalem), a neat suburb of Jerusalem. Aharon Appelfeld is alive, completely alive, at every moment.
