"Khanimambo Mozambique" (thank you Mozambique) is about those Chileans in exile from the dictatorship of Pinochet (1973) who were called by the Mozambican government to put their professional skills in the service of the rising communist revolution.
Following the path of Patricia (one of the first Chileans who reached Mozambique), died in 2008, this documentary brings into light a fascinating but little-known part of the Cold War history, redefining the very notion of identity when facing exile and political belief.
