In the course of the ten years during which Oleg Morozov filmed in the Russian enclave of Kaliningrad, he chose to encounter characters who were burning their lives. This is a film about life and death, about people who get close to the border between both worlds, and who, one after the other, topple over to the other side. But this is also a film about love, the most vibrant expression of life, of boundless love and of desperate existence. Just a few weeks after he had completed his film, the film-maker also died, bequeathing a film full of ghosts, until their next resurrection.
