Young students at the renowned Hotel School in Grenoble learn how to prepare food, serve, and clean for the world’s most prestigious hotels and restaurants. In this film at the crossroads of documentary and musical, these hopefuls sing their way through the training programme, improvising dances and confiding in their friends through their songs. They are asked to behave properly, smile, welcome customers, and obey orders unfailingly. How easy can this be when you’re sixteen or seventeen?
