Just when France thought they were gone forever, the wolf, the lynx and the bear are back, roaming free on French territory.
This film takes us on a trip to track down these animais, and to observe, in their wake, the reactions of the hurnans that live alongside them. Unavoidable questions arise, such as: do big predators still have a niche in Our ultramodern society? What are the risks involved in letting them back in? Are they the last living syrnbols of a dying wildlife and do we therefore have a duty to keep them alive?
As man and beast prepare for a new, inevitable confrontation, this film endeavors to discern ail the ins and outs of such a conflict, to determine who has the greatest right to exist as a nomadic predator or sedentary human?
