With the democratisation of African regimes, new questions rise: Does democracy improve life standing for everyone? Does it go along with a system of capitalist economy? Is this western democracy pattern compatible with African values, and eventually, Africa might have been democratic, its own way, before the whites came and have not been democratic only during colonialism and post-colonialism parenthesis.
