A man is walking along the roads and paths of the Ardennes region. His only possessions are pencils, a sketchpad and Arthur Rimbaud's poems. Between wandering and discovery, he goes on a quest for his painting and his soul. Slowly the Ardennes are taking form in front of him: landscapes, people, history, culture, traditions... everything appears and takes a new meaning, as if one was taking away, one by one, the veils of dawn, outside of geography and outside of time...
