"Casamance my brother" is a film based on a face to face to a mourning of a very close one: he is my brother and Casamance is the place. My brother chose to settle there and start a small farm and invite our mother of 90 to join him. This time it is my turn to make that journey and to film the steps of this courageous man who dare to fulfil his dreams. Though my stubborn quest and guided by the young Tidu, the film is crossing the beautiful and devastated Casamance. It takes off from its tracks as to say: facing the mourning, when the after world doesn't exist, everyone does what he can and dig what he has.
