Anna
Alberto Grifi, Massimo Sarchielli, Collectif
1973 - 225 min - Vidéo & 16 mm - Noir & Blanc - Italie

Not yet eighteen and pregnant, Anna runs off from junior high school. She meets Massimo Sarchielli on Navona Square, and he takes her to a “film studio–apartment” where she will be a guinea pig for a “realistic” experimentation. The two filmmakers would like to reenact a whining story, but Anna doesn’t play the game, and members of the technical team disagree with the screenplay. Vincenzo, an electrician, meets the girl’s need for love by stepping into the shot and declaring his love, while also reporting about his worker’s struggles.
Video equipment makes it possible to record both real time and ordinary, without cuts and manipulation, as used in feature films. Anna and Vincenzo's praxis of disobedience allows the two young people to assume their lives in a revolutionary dimension..
