Is nomadism dying out? Rissa Ixa, a Touareg painter from Niger, refuses the decline. Between ancestral traditions on one hand and modernism on the other, he tells us his regrets for the time he used to live in the desert. His paintings are "his people's memory".
While watching the daily reality or the magnificient feasts of the nomadic life, the images' rhythm reminds us the breath of the Touareg life.
