The Aatsinki brothers are reindeer herders that hardly talk. A year in the life of Aarne and Lasse Aatsinki is filled with Lapland’s scenery, coffee, and work in which tradition and technology go hand in hand. The film explores the brother’s relationship with nature through images and atmospheres whose minimalism reflects the way of life and surroundings of these arctic cowboys. The story of the family is like a retrospective of a year in the north – in silence.
