A tale of people involved in the "fatties market", their efforts to control or to exploit excessive and unsightly fat. The logic is that of the marketplace. On the one hand, we see people stuffing their bodies with junk food, subjected to pulsating images, seduced by carbohydrates. On the other hand, the fatties' brave attempts to undo the damage by dieting, the main beneficiaries being the pharmaceutical industry, agrobusiness, science, advertising.
