In Eastern Ukraine, a group of underground miners drink down vodka while talking about their comrade’s death in an accident. The youngest have no other perspective than working at the coal mine, the oldest admit it has ruined their life, and the women seem to have deserted the village. Among them is thirty-year-old Slava, who dreams of escaping his dreary village in order to start a new life with a young woman he has just met on the Internet.
