Ce film offre un instantané qui fixe un moment charnière de l’histoire d’Ogawa productions, juste après que Heta Village fut fini en 1973 et juste avant le départ de Sanrizuka pour Yamagata. C’est une période intéressante de l’histoire d’Ogawa productions. Le changement fut total entre le violent spectacle des manifestations et la vie quotidienne du village condamné. Cette nouvelle approche de la réalisation documentaire a permis à Ogawa productions de se démarquer à une époque où le monde du cinéma débattait sur la nature d’un "cinéma du mouvement".
