"A few years ago, my uncle died in the street. He was homeless. How did he wind up that way? To try to understand, I asked members of my family to retrace the itinerary of his descent. Everywhere in the city, the poor wander about lost. Death roams. Joe and Bart are still alive. They work in that sense, day after day, night after night." (Alexe Poukine)
