The Carrara Academy of Fine Arts white marble courses receive students from the world over. There they learn sculpting as was practiced in The Renaissance.
Amidst the dust and din of the hammer, the buzzing of the millstones and grinding of the sanders, the young students come to devote themselves to a life of creating. It is the transmission of desire, of knowledge, and of techniques both ancient and modern.
Over the course of their training, individual personalities come forward, as human figures emerge from the rough marble blocks.
