In the full Himalayas, Ladakh is the single Indian area with Buddhist majority. It is there, which settle, in 1853, of the Protestant missionaries Moravians coming from Germany. In Ladakh, they will build a church, a school, and will try to convert. Today, the Protestant community understands 200 downward people of the first converts. It is the oldest Christian community of the Himalayas.
