An island of life in the heart of the exodus right in the centre of Athens: City Plaza. A seven-storey building, squatted by anarchist networks in an ultimate act of "aggressive solidarity", so that more than 420 refugees can live in dignity.
Refugees, young European volunteers, Greek activists, men, women and children share their daily lives and try to experiment with a community management model, where everyone must be involved. In this ephemeral bubble of life, everyone comes seeking solutions, a bit of calm, a slightly easier life despite the external threats, lack of privacy and uncertain future… before heading off on the road again.
