This film is a “radioactive” report from the area around Temelin, a Czech nuclear power plant. Against a background of the fear of nuclear energy, the film tells a story of a symbiosis of a nuclear engineer and an anti-nuclear activist beekeeper. It reconstructs a story of petty corruption which, however, isn’t perceived as such by either protagonist. The author tries to decipher the nature of the psychological factor that arose during a local media campaign. Why are people afraid of Temelin honey, and is their fear justified? Possible answers to this question are provided by an independent audit by nuclear physicists, by the results of a Viennese conference of a hundred world-renowned scientists, and by a medieval tale.
