In the Russian Solovki islands in the White Sea, Rebolda has long been inhabited except for a few months of the year by seasonal gatherers of seaweed. This place hasn't changed in centuries. There is no electricity or means of communication, and the village is sixteen kilometres away through the woods. Here people live as if on a deserted island. Everyone is just passing through. But what impression does Rebolda leave on them? And what do these men leave behind on Rebolda?
