In thousands of kilometers, the images of the political crisis which divides Ivory Coast submerge me.
Over there, I spent my childhood and for a long time, I would have liked saying : I am an Ivorian, even though I am a white. In the last few years, I have met and filmed various women of my age who lived in a young workers-house there in Abidjan.
Today, some of them chose to leave the country and to go on exile. By leaving, they took with them a part of my past. A return seemed to me impossible.
This film is a road that I took from south to north of Ivory Coast, through cities and places which some of these women departed. Behind the screen of my own return in the country, it is the narrative of our destiny crossed in the shadow of Ivory Coast in crisis.
