For the 300th anniversary of the death of Sébastien Le Prestre, Marshal of Vauban, in 2007, and the inscription of his work as a Unesco World Heritage in July 2008, Altomédia presents a portrait of Vauban through his correspondence with Louvois, Minister of War, and Louis XIV.
Filmed in high-definition and using CGI and special effects of plans reliefs relayed by satellite and aerial images, this film tells us about Vauban‘s day-to-day activity through unpublished archives.
