In Cotonou and Porto Novo in Benin, industrial consumption products have been imported in large amounts, but there is almost no structure to process them, so that waste has progressively piled up in different places of the two cities.The situation, harmful for both human beings and environment, will keep deteriorating if no processing is implemented.Confronted to passive municipal authorities, some citizens have decided to react by granting a second life to this waste.
