Settled on the edge of the St. Lawrence River in Quebec City, a century old building protects the fragile existence of 82 Catholic nuns. Confronted by the realization of their advancing age and the absence of committed successors, the sisters of Sainte-Jeanne-d'Arc have recently reached the decision that moving would be in the best interest of their congregation.
With the passing of each season and guided by the nuns’ shared community life, we witness the gradual deterioration of their previously well-established order.
