Meet Sister Hedwig, Sister Charlotte and Sister Teresa. Their roots: The Ivory coast.
Their mission takes them to Marseilles where they try to encourage religious life in l'Estaque, a village in the north of the city and in the nearby working-class neighbourhoods.
In a surprising twist of History, an awkward reversal, they now find themselves fulfilling the role of the missionary Sisters of their childhood in their African homeland. And the task is not easy for what they willingly call Motherland turns out to be quite different from the Eden of their dream.
