Towards the end of the 19th century, the unexpected boom in the iron and steel industry became the starting point of a unique adventure for the Grand Duchy of Luxemburg. Steel production gave the tiny country the status of a rich, industrialised State. But the workers in the mining and steel area revolted against the values of traditional society and finished by shaking them...
This is a chronicle that takes us from the first factories and the beginnings of the Luxemburg workers' movement to the recent upheaval in the 70s and 80s... and finally to today.
