June 2008. Jeremie and I take the road for a 3-month journey going south, along the West Coast of the USA.
Along the way, we encounter American citizens, drawing the portrait of a country. Wavering between faith and disillusion, American citizens we meet expose, sometimes unconsciously, the vast gap between their reality and the mythology of the country and the fundamental values the flag symbolizes.
Taking the time of the journey, the film questions this America, full of contradictions and whom citizens still want to love with passion.
